From the beginning, Dawn was extremely thorough, compassionate and well-organized. She took care of everything and kept a line of communication open at all times. She was patient when we were doing the injections for the first time, talking us through it, and she was on the ball at every turn when travel plans needed changing, when a hotel we stayed at wasn't to our liking, and when our flight was delayed and we missed our rental car pickup. She re-booked flights for us, found us a more suitable place to stay, and arranged a shuttle to meet us at the airport late at night.
Dawn screens her recipients carefully, and refused to let us work with anyone she didn't feel completely confident and comfortable with. Everything was taken care of efficiently and professionally; the contracts with the lawyers, the psych screening, and of course the arrangements for the retrieval itself. From her perspective, the donor always comes first. At least that's how we felt
We had to fly all the way across the country for each experience, but we always felt safe and comfortable.
