We have been looking for a donor for about a year. I have checked with many agencies, and I really like a couple of them, so I'm going to write about them

I have found this agency to be a breath of fresh air - their fees are about average ($4500), their policies seem reasonable, the donor fees are all $5000, if I remember correctly. They have a database of close to 200 donors of all different shapes, sizes and ethnicities - they have one of the most diversified groups of donors I've seen. I don't really know how they do it, but their donors seem a bit more like \"real people\" than some other agencies, basically attractive and healthy, and if I can judge this, nice. One potential drawback is that a lot of the donors are 1st time donors, but I'm sure the longer they are in business, that will change. I've been checking them for months and they are constantly adding new donors.
I have spoken with Cresta and two other women, and find them all helpful and kind.
What I know about them: This agency is relatively new, started about a year ago, by Cresta Davila, who used to work for NWED for quite a while. Another poster has complained about some squabbling that happened during the transition. I cannot attest to that. Cresta has told me that she's tried very hard to do everything very ethically, and not contacted any of the donors from her previous life at NWED, which I find commendable. Perhaps some of them have found her, although I do not see much overlap between the two. She partnered with (purchased?) another agency, Building Families, that used to do both DE and surrogacy and has decided to focus on surrogacy; so she took over the egg donor database, and has added to it.
