any experiences with conceivabilities

Postby bluesilver » Sat Sep 29, 2007 9:24 am

I've started the process after much research and they have been very professional so far. I can't seem to find any other feedback on them and was wondering if anyone had information to share. I have been working with Alicia and now my case manager Jennifer and both women are incredible. I feel very lucky so far. But I still feel like I'm on pins and needles having heard so many horror stories about other agencies.

Donor Response

Postby HealthyMom » Wed Oct 24, 2007 4:35 pm

I have worked with Conveive Abilities as a donor and agree with you that they were very professional. They checked up on me to make sure that the IP's were informed on my status, and were so nice to send me a gift card to Starbucks during treatment. I had looked at other agencies before deciding to let C.Abilities represent me and I was very pleased with the process. The IP's were great too! Contact me if you have any questions. Good luck to you.

I did my first cycle as a donor with ConceiveAbilities in Chicago and found it a good experience all in all. Alicia did my donor interview, and she was very professional. My case handler, whose name I forgot, wasn't particularly engaged or responsive, but I got from her what I needed. ConceiveAbilities uses a legal agreement that lets donors cancel a cycle up until the day of the retrieval and still receive the entire fee, which as far I can tell is highly unusual in the industry. In general, I think this agency is very donor-friendly and has high professional standards. I would recommend them to other donors without reservation, although I have personally moved on to a different agency.
