Couple in Europe looking for egg donor

Postby Gaston999 » Wed Oct 24, 2007 3:09 am

Hi all out there.

We are a couple from 47 and 38 years (my wife), living in Luxembourg/Europe. We did 3 IVF cycles which all gave good initial results but ended way too early. This might have been caused by my wife's age so we are looking for a donor this way.

We are looking for a woman between 20 and 30 years, caucasian.
Blood type rhesus + if possible, it will make things easier.
Required is an above average intelligence and minimum some years of College.
No diabetes or cancer in near family please. Small to medium frame best but not essential.

The prefered location for egg retrieval would be the Royal University Hospital in Brussels, Laarbeeklaan, Brussels, Belgium, one of the most respected IVF clinics in Europe and under supervision of the leading professor himself. It would also be appreciated if the whole process of stimulation etc could be done here. Alternatively this could start also at your home clinic but results must be transferred in a strict time schedule to our clinic.

We offer a donor compensation of 5000$ net upwards, more if proven living births and also for better degrees, an additional 1500 for an university degree. A supplementary bonus of 2000$ is paid upon birth of a sound child.

We pay for airline return tickets for 2 adults (plus children if the need arises), the stay in a good quality hotel or rented house if prefered for the lenght of the treatment and a week after egg retrieval. Also a car rental is included for the lenght of the stay as well as a mobile phone and 75$ a day to pay for expenses. This way you can have a 2,3 or 4 weeks free holiday in the Center of Europe, visiting nearby Paris and Amsterdam as well as Germany. Naturally all medical charges will be paid. We will also pay for a consultation with an attorney and health insurance.

The donor is not required to meet us if she doesn't feel comfortable with this. Constant screening at your local clinic is required as well as the usual tests and questions and answers.

The time would be in the first months of 2008, by mutual agreement.

The reason we are looking for a donor this way is that we'd prefer a known donor, including her strenghts and weaknesses. This is normally not possible here as standard is an anonymous donation but donation by a known person is accepted but no donor base exists.
However we prefer not to have much contact after a child is born.

If all this sounds rather \"cold\" please forgive me. I do my very best to keep all this as calm as possible, there were already too much feelings involved in this.
Feel free to contact me by PM anytime.

Alain
