Ever heard of egg donor getting PG on donor cycle?

Postby amberbye » Mon Aug 25, 2008 11:26 pm

Hi there ladies,

I'm just wondering if it's possible to get PG during a donor cycle? Have you ever heard of it? Do clinics warn you about it?

If so, wouldn't it be really rare? And also, would the conception usually implant into the uterus or is there a higher chance that the embryo buries itself into a place other than the uterus (tube, abdomen, whatever)

Thank you!
Polly

It is rare because most donors either take extra precautions, or, like me, abstaine totally from .. But yes, it can and does happen from time to time. And while there is no possability of the pregnancy lodging in the abdoman, lol I suppose there's always a chance of an ectopic/tubal. However, I don't know if the risk goes up with DE.
