Genetic disorders

How many of you parents would work with a donor whose has several children, but one has a recessive gene disorder.

\"Recessive gene\" means that BOTH parties have to have the defective gene (genes---most are unknown), and that it's very very rare (unless there are inter-family relationships) to have that occur.

Each party individually can have healthy kids, but together there is a 50% chance of a child having it. Docs have told the donor its very very rare, and next to impossible to find a partner with the same issue.

Would you work with a donor like that?
