I am surprised to see several negative comments about A Perfect Match. As a repeat donor, I have dealt with several donor agencies and I found APM to be by far the most pleasant and professional to deal with. That's why I have decided to stay with them. Valerie, their main coordinator, is organized, responsive, professional, and friendly, and as far as I am concerned, she really does a good job navigating/balancing the interests of both donor and IP. I know I am writing from the donor perspective and that an IP's experience may be different but I find it hard to imagine that APM is such a bad agency for IP's to deal with.
Some agencies treat their donors like a commodity or a vendor, which is demeaning. At APM I have always felt that the agency cares about the interests and well-being of the donors.
