Just a post to share my experience and hoping it helps someone else. I was recommended to this clinic by a friend who had twins through donor eggs almost 6 years ago. My diagnosis is age. I did one cycle with my own eggs (hoping against statistics that it would work - negative) and am now in the middle of my first DE cycle.
I have been amazed at how caring and responsive the staff at the clinic is. I never call without getting a return call the same day...and I call a fair amount. This process is so complex and confusing and every clinic has their own protocol so I get on BB's and find people writing about things that are different from what I am doing then call and they explain...ever patiently...again what their protocol is and why. At this point, they even recognize my voice and remember my name.
Dr. Nemiro is very direct and honest. Sometimes this can be a little jarring since he doesn't sugar coat your odds. When he told me my best chance was donor eggs I was crushed - but I have heard of people paying for cycle after cycle with their own eggs and personally, I would prefer to get the real story and be upset then get over it, than have someone string my hope along and not give me good information I can make decisions with.
They have their own donor pool with a wide variety of donors and we were easily able to find one we liked. We ended up waiting about 4 months for someone to share.
