Hi donors,
My husband and I are looking for an egg donor who is willing to have an 'open' donation, has relatively low compensation and expenses, and meets the following criteria:
-under 25
-brown hair
-caucasian
-medium height
-previous successful donation (meaning it resulted in a live birth) would be a huge asset to us

A little bit about us:
We completed a very expensive no-expense barred cycle in September which did not work out. We went ultraproven with the hope we'd never have to cycle again, but we should have been more careful with our planning; we left nothing for a subsequent cycle. Because of this, we've depleted most of our resources and have limited funding to complete another next cycle. We have at our disposal something in the $3000-3500 range for comp and expenses included; we really have exhausted all of our financial options but would like to cycle again this summer. Because of our past failures, we also have to do some expensive procedures (preimplantation genetic diagnosis) and so we really are in a tight spot financially. We would be willing to go 'shared-risk' so to speak with a donor, meaning just expenses up front and then compensation if a live birth results. I don't know if this interests any donors out there....

BTW, we are a young (early 30s), loving couple who unfortunately got the news of my premature ovarian failure at age 31. We were devastated by the news but immediately turned to donor egg. When our first cycle failed, we were devastated but we'll be ready to cycle again this summer (thank you, tax return!)
If having an open donation, with a loving couple that will always stay in touch if that's what you'd like, and you are willing to accept lower than average compensation and expenses for your time and effort, we'd love to hear from you. We live in Canada but we are working with a Dallas, Texas doctor who we want to cycle with again.
