Hello! My husband and I are interested in finding a donor in the Los Angeles area. Our clinic in located in Pasadena. We are looking for:

Brown hair (preference but would consider other)
Big eyes (color doesn't matter)
5'5\" or taller (I'm tall)
Fair to medium fair skin tone
Good family health history

A little bit about me and my DH: I am 40, he's 41. My ethinic background is 1/2 Irish, 1/4 Lithuanian, and the rest is English, German and French. My Dh is 1/2 Welsh, and 1/4 English and I forget the other 1/4 We have tried quite a few IUIs and IVFs without success. I am a poor responder to the stim meds. I have a huge family so if we are successful there will be lots of aunts and uncles and cousins. We are a tight family. We just want our own child to add to the mix

Can I ask why you are not going through your clinic's program?

Would you consider doing a shared cycle? I am interested in possibly doing a shared cycle if what I am doing currently does not work out. I am in the LA area and believe I may be a physical match in general terms (though I don't know if I have \"big eyes\").

Willing - Although I happen to believe mixed race children are the most beautiful my DH and I would be looking for a donor that would at least have features similar to me so we would be looking for a caucasian donor.

Guest - I would be interested in a shared cycle but would need more info on how that worked.

Re: why I wasn't going through my clinic: I may end up going through my clinic, however if I were to find an independent donor there wouldn't be a $5,000 agency fee involved. My DH and I have spent a large amount of money ttc through IUIs and IVF. Aside from the fact that even my doctor told me it is too expensive through the clinic and suggested I find someone I knew. Well I don't know anyone so I thought I would at least look into independent donors. I am also looking at donor agencies. Anything is possible at this point. I also have an appt with my doctor on 4/12 and will discuss what their fees are through the clinic in more detail. Last time we spoke with him about it we decided to try again on our own.

I am a 3X egg donor. (each cycle they have retrieved no less then 20 eggs- my last cycle was 29 eggs)
1st cycle- IM positive with twins (anon. donations)
2nd cycle-IM positive beta test (anon. donations)
3rd cycle- IM positive beta test (anon. donations)
I have blonde hair, and pale blue eyes.
I am 5'8 1/2
I weigh 120 lbs. I have pale skin. (I do not tan at all, I have to be careful in the sun- burn easily)
