First, thank you for choosing to do surrogacy. It's such a selfless thing to do.
My husband and I have been married for 12 years. He is a RN in the OR
i teach 5th grade social studies and science.
We are in a unique position from most people seeking a surrogate. When we met we both already had children...he had 2...I had 3. We had so much love that we wanted to add to our family. I had a tubal reversal that ended with a tubal pregnancy and blew my only working tube. We started ivf right after. I went through the shots...my body had an alergic reaction to the meds causing my muscles and skin to burn....I kept on....wanting the children so bad. The doctors retrieved 23 eggs from me, urging me to fertilize them all that we'd be lucky to get 2 good embryos....we got 13....5 day embryos!!!
We had great success with them. Out of 6 we had implanted....we have 5 kids.
Our older kids are on their own and our world is wrapped around our littles. They do excellent in school and love playing sports.
We learned 2 things with my last pregnancy...i wasn't able to carry any more and my son was born with albinism....albino. This means that our embryos have a 1:4 chance of being albino and being a special needs child...making them unadoptable. This is causing me great pain....as the lives are already created. We are financially stable But just don't have a lot of extra money. You can email me at jaurbanski@live.com
