Not so good

Not so good

I have worked with GNC.
This agency and owner is absolutely dishonest about who she is, and what she represents. Some medical facilities will not even work with GNC anymore.
Beware.

What Clinics Are You Talking About?

Postby Guest » Thu Mar 23, 2006 12:09 pm

I highly recommend CNG and my clinic recommended them to me (OHSUand my donor previous cycled a CCRM via CNG, so if CCRM will work with them, I think that say a lot about the credibility of the agency.

I have no issue with people stating their opinions or talking about a negative experience, that type of feedback is very helpful. But why make stuff up...just stick to the facts.

You wrote in your post that the owner is not who she claims to be -- could you elaborate?

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM CNG

Postby Dzintra » Mon Mar 27, 2006 4:47 pm

I have had personal experience where both the owner and the donor were INTENTIONALLY not truthful with us - had we not found out by ACCIDENT, we may have had a very unsuccessful cycle!!! RUN AWAY!!!

CNG dishonest

First of all, there is no need to point out my mistake in acronyms. We all know whom we are talking about.

We found out quite by accident that A was an egg donor through a clinic we intended to work with (as a match with one of the donors on her list).

This was a huge shock, for us, given that A was passing herself off as a donor egg recipient and talking about adopting a 2nd child.

We felt comfort in knowing that she knew what we were going though first hand, and I suspect she uses this tactic to get clients.

I think with some research, and discussion with other couples who have worked with her, you will find that she told them she was a egg recipient as well.
(donor mom support group members have concurred they were told the same thing.)

I think she knows the word is out, and now changing her tactic in hopes it all blows over.

I highly suspect she and her \"helper\" have access to this board and are responding to some of these posts as anonymous posters.

Doesnt it seem strange that after a complaint about their website is posted (about donor list not being updated) that all of a sudden it was updated???

Come on people, lets pay more attention to the big picture. There are a number of agencies out there with better lists of donors and they are certainly much more honest, and do try to keep travel costs down.

I agree about travel cost. Their agency fees are low but they will find you somewhere else. Did not like dealing with them.

Deception at CNG

Postby Have a baby now!!!! » Fri May 19, 2006 5:40 am

We were doin great with ANdrea - - found her to be very responsive, etc UNTIL she had our deposit and it was time to start our cycle - - she lied about the donor (who was actually cycling with someone else when she was supposed to be cycling with us), blamed the lies on the clinic, and the lies just kept on coming...mostly to cover her butt! We would habv never known our donor was cycling at another clinic had our clinic not called for her medical records, and the donor would have either had a back-to-back cycle with us OR we would have kept getting delayed for false reasons (hmmm... the donor was NOT unexpectedly in school in calif for a month as Andrea told us - - DUH!!!!!) .Andrea tried to say it was our clinic that was delaying - - - which I found out was absolutely false!!!! Had our clinic not been on top of things, we would have likely been unsuccessful and never known why , and Andrea and the donor would have $ in their pockets - - and ANdrea would likely not tell a future couple the reason for the BFN!!!!

Bottom line, Andrea is super nice, but .........

I have known many donors, myself included, who have done back to back cycles with much success! Most RE's want the donors ovaries to rest a bit though especially if they are high producers or have a tendency to hyperstim........however, for those wth fast easy recoveries it is not an issue. I did better on my second donation (second of the back to back cycles) than I did on the first. So this alone would not necessarily have caused you to have a neg beta............

Still, everything should be on the up and up. I can't believe they would do this without your knowledge or consent!

Re: Not so good/Andrea is AWFUL....RUN...

Postby trying2find1 » Sat May 21, 2011 6:59 pm

I am so happy to find this forum because I thought I was crazy when I spoke to Andrea in December.
I called to inquire about a donor and she was extremely rude and obnoxious. I told her that I just wanted to get an idea of the costs for the donor and she told me that was impossible to do unless I had chosen a clinic. I had called other agencies and they were able to give me costs. I told her that I did not like her tone and than she got really rude. She told me that I was obviously educated and could figure out things for myself and she wished me the best of luck. She also told me that she was not giving me access to her website and to "get lost".
This after I was going through my 2nd back to back miscarriages. She is so insensitive and very rude and should not be in the business. I was so angry that I was going to send a letter to some of the national fertility organizations.
RUN from Andrea.....run.
I have never dealt with anyone so unprofessional and especially with an issue so sensitive.
