research for cbc documentary

Postby veronica » Sun Mar 26, 2006 8:03 pm

Hello:
I am a researcher with the Canadian Broadcasting Corp.
(CBC) and work for the television program Sunday News,
www.cbc.ca/sunday.

We are currently filming a documentary about the choices
available to infertile Canadian couples. We would like to speak to those
who have sought the services of a fertility clinic to obtain IVF
treatment, whether their experiences have been positive or
negative, and to those who have decided to use a surrogate. We are
also anxious to contact woman all across North America who have
chosen to be egg donors or surrogates themselves.

This story is being reported by Evan Solomon. A few years
ago he and his wife sought IVF treatments at fertility clinics and
therefore he has first-hand experience, understanding and sensitivity to
the sorts of hurdles faced in this situation.

We are anxious to hear from those interested in the
possibility of participating in our documentary. We understand that our
project would mean entering your lives in a most intimate fashion. We
have no interest in sensationalizing the issues or embarrassing any
interview subjects.

If you are interested in discussing this further, I can be
reached at 416-921-6126, please call collect, or at vmaddocks@sympatico.ca.

Sincerely,

Veronica Maddocks
Researcher

Hello again:
I'm stumped!
I just clicked on the email address link and sent myself a trial message that went through immediately.
Perhaps try sending to my address vmaddocks@sympatico.ca through your own email system instead of directly from this site.

Technology is a wonderful thing --- sometimes.
