We are a loving, . couple, together six years. After almost four years of trying to have a baby, including three attempts at IVF, our arms are still empty. We are broken-hearted.
I am now 41, and we know that our chances of ever becoming pregnant on our own are slim, at best. Our only hope is to find a donor. I have no sisters, and no other potential donors in my family.
We are looking for a potential donor who is under 34 years of age. Ideally, she would be living in Montreal, or nearby. Ottawa or Toronto are possibilities. Obviously, good physical and emotional health are essential. Preferably, she would be average to tall in height, fair-skinned, and have brown or blond hair (this matches my description). It would also be great if she were of Eastern European descent (to match my own), but this is not essential.
Most important is that she would have to have a heart of gold, as it is against the law in Canada to pay for donor eggs. All expenses can, however, be reimbursed.
If we were to have a child, s/he would be brought up in a loving home, by well educated, open-minded parents. We would teach her to respect other people, as she does herself. She would be instilled with a love and respect for this planet, and all the creatures on it. Education and outdoor activities would be priorities. We would be completely honest with her about how she came to be.
