Repromed Toronto--not a good clinicOur experience with Dr. Del Valle was not very comfortable.
I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO USE THEIR SERVICE, ESPECIALLY YOU ARE PAYING A LOT FOR IVF. BELOW ARE THE DETAILS: 1. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE As we need a donor for our IVF, all they do is throw us to an agency in Florida to look for a donor. The \"donor co-ordinator\" in Dr. Del Valle's office never answer any of our questions about donor, not even how the procedures will be co-ordinated. She will just say \"You should ask the donor agency\". Their Florida donor agency has bad customer service too. Promise to call us back for phone consultation, but never call back. 2. FEELING VERY PASSIVE Nobody informed us what the whole procedures/steps will be eventhough we asked. We felt like we were hanging in the air passively and wait for their next act without knowing what's next. Everytime when we asked for what will be the next step be, always no accurate reply, just tell me to be there in the next appointment. When I asked Dr Del Valle to describe to me the whole picture, he just told me \"You have to trust people, we are the professionals, don't worry.\" That really makes me worry, is that we have the right to know what's going on? 3. ALL THEIR COST ARE MUCH HIGHER THAN THE OTHER CLINICS EVEN MORE THAN THOSE REPUTABLE CLINIC IN US. DR. DEL VALLE ASKED US TO DO EXPENSIVE TEST WHICH OTHER CLINICS NEVER ASKED. WHEN I ASKED HIM WHY, HE JUST SAID OUR TEST ARE MUCH MORE DETAILS AND THROUGH. Like the sperm wash test (done in his lab,the one right next to his office) is $100 more expensive than the other clinic. The DNA test he asked us to do (according to him, has to be in Montreal his affiliated lab) is 200-300 more than other clinic. Finally we found out our DNA case can be covered by OHIP (the government). OVERALL, WE DID NOT HAVE GOOD FEELINGS WITH THEM, SO WE FINALLY DECIDED TO CHANGE TO ANOTHER CLINIC. THEY GAVE US A FEELINGS THAT THEY CHARGE A LOT, BUT DON'T CARE A LOT. MIGHT BE ON THE SURFACE THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY CARE, BUT ACTUALLY NOT REALLY. Good Luck to all of you!
