HORRIBLE
I do love their system of having an . (and very thorough) profile which I could update regularly with life changes and new pics. I've also heard that they have the best diversity of donors.

I am glad you found another agency to work through. I am working through CNG right now and I think they are excellent. Mallorca

The message that began this thread, titled HORRIBLE, was a long rant by me that outlined my experience with ED Inc. as a donor. Because my IPs and I (luckily) had contact with each other, we were able to establish that EDI had lied to both of us about why the cycle took so long to get started, telling us each that the other was delayed for various reasons (all made up and quite elaborate!). Then, the last straw was that they lied about the comp, saying I demanded X amount and wouldn't negotiate, which is not at all true. I set my own comp $2000 lower than what they told me the couple wanted to offer (but they told the couple I demanded). This makes sense since they get a cut of the donors comp (5 or 10%).
My original message was edited on 4/10. It says \"edited by Jane-donor\" which would show up if this were true, because I wasn't signed in and was just a guest. I'm not sure how they were able to edit like this, but they basically took out the bulk of my post, and left ONLY the one good thing I had to say about them - their website. Did they not think that everyone would notice \"HORRIBLE\" in the title, and then wonder why it was a postitive post. I am so ashamed to have ever been involved with this agency.

This agency is horrible. They have a great website, and so when I first decided to be a donor I signed up with them. I do love their system of having an . (and very thorough) profile which I could update regularly with life changes and new pics. I've also heard that they have the best diversity of donors.
HOWEVER, they ended up being horrible. First, the small things: the women I would be contacted by were very unprofessional and seemingly uneducated. Whether they could spell or not doesn't matter, but they wouldn't even take the time to write out a decent email. Every single time I got an email from a particular employee there - no exaggeration - there was a typo, omitted word, etc. It just made me feel like the whole thing was a joke to them. Now to the really bad stuff. I was matched with a couple and we were allowed to swap anonymous email addresses. I got to know the IM really well and she was awesome. However, we caught ED inc in SO many lies along the way. Since they get a cut of the donors comp, it is in their interest to jack it up, which is exactly what they did. They told the couple that I set my comp at $6000 and wasn't flexible, which was not even close to true. I wasn't never asked what I thought was fair. I was told \\"most first time donors receive $4000. However, this couple would really like to offer you $6000\\". Now, the actual comp was fine by the couple as far as I was told, but it was the fact that they lied about it to both of us. We then figured out that a lot of the delays pre-cycle had been blamed on each of us to the other...just blatant lies were made up. In the end my IM said they wouldn't even answer or return her calls. So, we both left the agency and they lost a lot of money. I then signed up with CNG, and we matched through them and had a successful (pregnant!!!) cycle! I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE THE USE OF ED Inc..

While no agency is perfect, this agency is far from perfect and has commited outright FRAUD. There are repeated complaints of malicious lies and deceit. Please do not say that ALL agencies are out to take advantage of IPs struggling with IF. This is simply not true. This agency is in a class all by itself. If they want to clean up their AWFUL reputation, they should fix the damage they have done and conduct themselves in a prefessional, HONEST, and ETHICAL manner. I'm not holding my breath tho......
