As an agency we have never asked for our Intended Parents to pay $500.00 upfront prior to selecting an egg donor. It states in our retainer agreement that we do not accept the $500.00 until the egg donor has been selected. As an agency we also do not accept the remaining agency fee until the egg donor has cleared all medical and psychological screening. We work very hard to make our clients feel comfortable and to make this a very smooth process for them.
