Well after re-reading all of the posting and realizing that I WANTED to believe CNG was a good agency I have to eat crow.
1.- You guys are right. It is the hardest thing to get a hold of them. They have summer hours as they close the offices, or stop anwering calls at 3:00 PM. Now wonder I could not ever get a hold of them. Other agencies I have contacted are more flexible and given that I am in CST zone, I can always return calls after work, since I cannot take care of these matters from work.
2.- ARROGANCE!! Andrea is the most arrogant person. You know, all of us that have been thru this path, are scarred and need some encouragement. NOT ANDREA! is it either take it or leave it! And it is about capitalizing on the opportunity. ($$$)
3.- Traveling costs..uhm now that I have read the postings I am very suspicious of the reason I got turned down by my donor (DANA #161). We have spent over 100K in this path and wanted to use Hotel and airline miles to defray some of the costs. The estimate Andrea gave was outrageous! the most expensive I have seen from any agencies. Once I asked her about the exhorbitant travel costs and the fact we wanted to use miles, she became even more non-coorperative. I suspected it was just a matter of time until we got the boot!
Andrea became aware that I was not going to just pay the costs without questioning and the phone issue became a problem, so she used an excuse ( My donor supposedly has an upcomng wedding) to terminate the business contact. There was no \" can we find you another donor? can we work with your plan B donor? nothing! just looking forward to not dealing with us
BE AWARE OF THIS AGENCY
To be fair, once the smelled opportunity, they were very forthcoming with donor information.
