BE AWARE! The owner lies about the intended parents and surrogates. Allows breach of contract by intended parents.. ie: not paying in full per contract. Allows bills to go to collections before paying and does not respond to emails or phone calls. Creates an extremely stressful time for surrogates and is just completely unprofessional. Also, I had to go out of town for the transfer (as a surrogate) and they reserved the rental car wrong and I was stuck at my hotel with no transportation for the first half of the week. It took the owner that long to get me transportation money.. so I ended up having to pay for taxis everywhere instead of having a rental. Do Not waste your time with this agency!!!!!!

I completely agree; this company show’s no professionalism and is very unorganized and always unavailable when it comes to payments. I question if this business is here to help those who want to have children or if she only does this for her own personal gain.

I have worked with them since 2007 as both a donor and surro and have had a great experience every time! My ip's were amazing and all staff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to my last surroacy and helping a final couple in need. Can't imagine doing it anywhere else.

donor&surromommy, per your last posting Mon Jul 11, 2011 4:40 pm “I have worked with Miracles since 2006” and per your recent post dated Tue Jul 19, 2011 10:14 pm you mention “I have worked with them since 2007”, which is it???? Could it be possible that Allison is donor&surromommy writing on this forum? Please note there are now three postings addressing this company by donor&surromommy in regards to how amazing it was to do business with this company; my concern is for new clients and donors to be aware of the ramifications of choosing to do business with Miracles Egg Donation.

I have been dealing with this company for several months now and to be honest have never dealt with anyone less professional. She has a very sweet and pleasant voice on the phone, but when you judge one by their actions she leaves MUCH to be desired. My whole IVF transfer was almost cancelled because she failed to any of the things she was suppose to due prior to the transfer date. I currently have over $20k floating in limbo that she has had for over two months and I get nothing but excusses why it doesn't seem to get where it's suppose to go. Anyone who goes with this agency is a real gambler in my opinion. For your sake and your monies sake, please be careful when choosing an agency and do your homework.

FYI-Just Posted www.eggdonor.comSerious Allegations Of Misconduct Leveled Against Miracles Egg Donation and Surrogacy, Inc. July 27th, 2011 Yet another agency in our industry has been accused of impropriety involving the handling of trust funds. Miracles Egg Donation and Surrogacy, Inc., allegedly an international agency with offices in California, Australia and Europe, has failed to timely pay numerous surrogates and egg donors and has been accused of embezzling Intended Parents’ trust funds. If you are a Surrogate, Egg Donor or Intended Parent you should immediately contact your attorney to discuss the status of your case and trust funds. I encourage all Miracle Intended Parents, Surrogates and Egg Donors to demand an accounting of their trust funds – including a copy of the current bank statement. Internal ledgers generated by an agency’s accounting software is practically useless as it in no way imparts any information on how much funds are actually on deposit in your account. Finally, you ought to demand that whatever trust funds you have remaining on account (assuming the funds have not been misappropriated), should be immediately transferred to an independent escrow or trust company.

I worked with them and used a surrogate, but our donor was from another agency. We never seemed to have a problem. We worked with 2 prior egg donation agencies and 1 other surrogate agency (which was a total nightmare). After finding our angel of a donor (the 1st donor only produced a few eggs even though she was a prior donor and had a good cycle before) we had success. Our 2nd surrogate and 2nd donor seemed to be the one to FINALLY work out. We found Miracles through a friend who had used them. They never mentioned a problem and I am sure he would not have given me their number if there was such an issue. Our Dr's office had worked with them numerous times as well with their donors and surrogates. My surrogate seemed happy and we were over joyed and she carried our healthy baby to term. She is working with them again, and bravely carrying twins. We email and talk on the phone about once or twice a month. Her pregnancy seems to be going fine and she is not due for another couple of weeks. She is crazy and wants to do this again if the Dr will let her. If I had to do it again I would go with them. All of the girls in the office were lovely and it was nice at the hospital that I did not have to worry about any of the paper work, and I got to just sit and hold my new baby. Miracles handled everything. Helping us with the birth certificate, social security card, passport, even getting us our own room in the hospital to sleep in so we did not have to leave our baby one minute. The Dr, hospital staff treated me as if I had just delivered. It was very lovely. They had everything arranged before hand so I really did not have to do anything but spend time with my baby. The hospital was very surrogate family friendly, which really made a great ending to a new beginning.

For those of you who have had good experinces with Miracles that is great for you, but there are those of us who have been negetively affected and deeply hurt by Miracles and Allison Layton. Most of the time, it has been the surrogates/egg donors who have had the most issues, because she tends to tell the IPs what they want to hear since they are the ones providing her with money. She has no concern for the women who give of their time and bodies to make other people parents. Most of these serious issues have come up in the last year and have gotten progressively worse over the last 3 months as it seems the money has completely dried up. Allison does a great job of keeping her egg donors/surrogates away from each other with no communication so they are alone and in the dark. Her own staff had no privy to financial matters either, she controlled it all. Money that was said to be in trust or escrow accounts for the parents never was, it was always right at her fingertips in her own personal company account. Also, she tells the IPs lies about their egg donors/surrogates to drive a wedge in the relationships so they no longer hear or believe what is going on.This is what she did to me. I was a surrogate for her company and NEVER was paid on time my entire pregnancy with the most unreasonable excuses why not. I am stilled owed a large amount of money months after giving birth with no end in site of me ever being paid, nor any possibilty it seems of the medical bills taken care of either, even though she has already taken all of my IPS money. I have never met someone so manipulative in my life. She was able to spin all kinds of stories for my IPs about why I wasnt being paid or bills taken care of. My IPs can no longer get in contact with her either, though she suppossedly has tens of thousands of dollars of their money. While surrogates and egg donors struggle with the effects of unpaid medical bills and not being paid or reimbursed our expenses, she lives in a million dollar home, has 3 high end cars, and has used the money entrusted to her to pay others for her own personal gain. I dont even think her own family is truly aware of what is going on. She no longer answers phone calls or emails and stays out of Miracles office and no longer has a staff. There are many victims, most of whom choose to be anonymous or come forward quietly to the attorneys for fear of retribution. I believe she will eventually be brought to justice and know that legal avenues are being pursued.

These comments seem unwarranted and unfounded. We used Miracles services and now have a beautiful family thanks to Allison and her team of experts. Our children are now almost 2 years old and I am thankful for the services Allison provided on a daily basis. Every time I look in my childrens’ eyes I am grateful to God for the miracle that Allison helped make happen. My experience with her and the agency was perfect. So was the experience of everyone else involved with the agency – including doctors, nurses, egg donors, medical assistants and surrogates. So, I’m not sure who is writing some of these horrible things, but it seems as though they need to be checked out before judgements are made. A disgruntled person should not be making such claims in such a public forum. I am forever grateful for what this woman has done, not only for me and my family, but for the scores of other people she has helped as well. Best Regards

The above comments are in no way horrible although the experiences with Allison Layton, Miracles Egg Donation have been and the article itself that is posted is factual, so you may feel it be unwarranted due to your wonderful experience but the fact of the matter is that many intended parents, surrogates, and donors have come forward and legal action has been brought against Allison Layton and very much warranted.

Miracles Egg Donation Has Closed Its Doors
By Andrew Vorzimer ⋅ August 29, 2011 ⋅ Email This Post ⋅ Post a comment Filed Under Allison Layton, miracles, miracles egg donation, Miracles Surrogacy
We have received an email confirmation that Miracles Egg Donation, Inc. has shut down. This is not surprising given the increasing number of victims who have come forward alleging misappropriation of trust funds and the failure to pay surrogates and egg donors.
If you are working with Miracles in any capacity, I would strongly encourage you to contact your attorney immediately to determine your rights and what remedies may exist. A number of the victims have already filed reports with the FBI and local law enforcement and your attorney can explore with you what options might exist.

Anyone reading this forum should immediately notice that there are numerous posts by the same person- this ks123 person. No one would overpost on every article that mentions this agency the same positive things over and over unless it was the owner herself. She is trying to outweigh all the bad, by posting all these "good" reviews. Beware-don't believe anything you hear positive about this agency, and take into account the numerous egg donors, IPs, and surrogates who have been hurt emotionally and financially by this company. Miracles Egg Donation should no longer be operating and since they are choosing to "keep their doors open" and attempt to take on new clients, I have to forwarn and encourage all those thinking about using this agency to look elsewhere. They are many great and reputable companies who have not had these horrible claims and situations arise with their clients. Look here on greateggs.com or on surromomsonline.com for agencies with rave reviews for all parties involved, not just by one or two people.

The Unmitigated Gall Of Miracles Egg Donation By Andrew Vorzimer ⋅ September 20, 2011 ⋅ Email This Post Email This Post ⋅ Post a comment Filed Under miracles, miracles egg donation, miracles egg donation and surrogacy
So while dozens of Egg Donors, Surrogates and Intended Parents who have been victimized by Miracles Egg Donation are still awaiting their long overdue funds, Miracles had the temerity to publish this email to an unknown number of nurse coordinators in the industry:

I wish I had time to parse this email sentence by sentence. Instead I am not going to look beyond Layton’s statement that “[t]his has been a wonderful year and we welcomed many new members to our Miracles family.” Does this individual have any conscience or does she have some twisted sense of family? We are talking about a “family” that has yet to explain where more than $100,000.00 of client trust funds have gone. This is a “family” where surrogates and egg donors are now in collection because their promised funds have disappeared. This is a “family” where no less than 3 sets of Intended Parents have lost their life savings (which was to be held in trust) earmarked for their surrogacy and egg donation cycles and now are facing a lifetime without children. This is a “family” where at least two employees went on stress leave never to return to work because of the shenanigans taking place at Miracles.
Clearly this is nothing more than a desperate attempt to attract new funds to replace those that have disappeared. This is a “family” no one should want any part of.
By the way, here is an update on a Better Business Bureau complaint just filed against Miralces by one of its “family” members:
BBB Business Consumer Complaint Complaint: 09/06/2011: I am an egg donor and have had a number of problems with this company and the owner A. Layton. I have never been paid on time the 3 times I have worked with them even after signing contracts stating that I would be paid within 7 days. each time I have been ignored for weeks/months and when I finally receive an answer I’m told my check must have been Lost in the mail. From the start of the cycle I had issues because no lawyer wanted to work with Miracles due to the fact that their clients were not being paid and at that point I wanted to cancel the cycle but A. Layton and the Dr involved sent a number of emails and phone calls saying, It would be a major loss/disappointment to the intended parents if I were to cancel. I refused to continue without receiving a postdated check in advance to avoid non-payment but to my dismay even after going through the trouble to protect myself the check bounced after depositing it and I incurred a Bounced check fee to my account. Ms. Layton no longer answers my phone calls/emails and the doctor that performed the procedure even tried a number of times to step in and contact her on my behalf but received no response either. My payment was supposed to be in a trust/escrow account but apparently never was. Working with this company has been the most stressful business experience I have ever had and by next week I will be retaining a lawyer if this isn’t resolved.
Business response: This egg donor will be compensated and shall be receiving the money she is requesting and rightfully owed. We have responded to every email as well as the doctors. She has emailed after business hours on weekends and or Holidays. We have gotten back to her upon the return of open business hours. We have not received any calls from her nor has she left any messages with any issue. Therefore, without leaving a message we are not aware of her call to return her call. The egg donor chose to go forward without any legal representation and signed the legal contract but also signed a legal waiver.
Consumer rebuttal: Ms. Layton/Jarvie’s response is full of half truths & elusive promises. She began with “This egg donor WILL BE compensated…” But no reference was made to when. Will be compensated tomorrow? Next year? This canned response does not reference the contract we each signed which said she had a max of 7 days to remit payment. The last cycle I waited over 3 months to be paid & this time she is almost a month late already with no payment in sight. Actually she is more than late, she sent me a bad check weeks ago knowing full well there was no money in her account. The check was & always is sent from her personal business account, not the trust fund/escrow mentioned in the contract. She should not have had access to the money in the first place to be able to misappropriate/”Misplace” it. Ms Layton/Jarvie makes reference to emailing “Outside of business hours”. While I did email her after business hours due to attending class during the day how can she even attempt to use this as an excuse almost a month later? It hasnt been outside of business hours the entire stretch of her non-payment and it wasnt outside of business hours during the entire 3 months she was late with my last payment.
