Today's Globe article (Canada) on \"older\" mothers

Hey all,

did you see the article in today's Globe and Mail on \"older\" motherhood? Extremely offensive. Written by arch-conservative Maragaret Wente and some guy who's known for being a stay-home-dad (Whoop-de-doo), which somehow makes him an expert on motherhood.

Everyone should write a letter to the editor. (Wente is one of the editors of the paper, which, of course, makes her also an expert.) Excuse all the sarcasm, but i'm so mad!

Here's the letter I wrote:
Margaret Wente and David Eddie should do their research before they go spouting off about a subject they evidently know precious little about. What is it about a childless-by-choice newspaper editor and a stay-at-home dad that makes them experts on older motherhood? Their “debateâ€

if you're going to write a letter, send it to letters@globeandmail.com
subject line would be something like: Re: Wente's \"Who Needs Grandchildren?\"
