I was treated very fairly and with care and patience. I liked a donor very much initially and tried to make arrangements to come to her. They waited while I did this, and in the meantime sent me the initial agreeement and the contract. So nothing was hidden. The contract is very much designed to protect their interests, but this is a business after all, and they were prepared to respond to my concerns about the terms and timing of the financial arrangements. They were incredibly responsive to my emails (Molly and Shelley were truly helpful, as was Wendie), answering with great promptness and were cheerful downright kind. I was always treated with respect and tried to do the same.
When there was a snafu over my donor's availability they sorted it out very quickly and were understanding and even apologetic about any confusion. I confirmed the donor and when another problem with the donor's schedule appeared within a day, they quickly informed me and refunded in full my deposit. I was truly disappointed not to be able to go forward but also because I felt I would be treated well.
At every turn I was treated professionally, ethically, and with kindness.
