I just wanted to sing my praises for Dawn. I did my first cycle with the Egg Donation Center of Dallas (EDCD) and had a horrific experience. I hyper-stimulated and was told to WAIT several days to \"see\" if it would go down before I was cleared to have a parasyntesis, thus causing me great pain and a huge change in my body shape. I was traumatized and extremely disappointed that I decided to do what I thought was a great, selfless thing and I was rewarded by EDCD with neglect and extreme unprofessionalism. I swore I would never donate again. Then I did some research and found Dawn's website. I emailed her just to find out the differences between donating in TX and CA. I was impressed by the fact that she emailed me back right away. I decided to go ahead and give donating one more shot and I was so glad that I did. Dawn has guided me through three more very successful donations, being completely involved every step of the way. I like the fact that she runs the whole show herself. That way I was never passed off to someone who was unfamiliar with my case. In my last retrieval, I delt with a horribly rude Dr. He even brought me to tears once. Dawn took care of the situation and arranged it with the couple so that I didn't have to see him again. I was so relieved that she did this with such diplomacy that no one was upset or angry with the change. I would (and have) recommend Dawn to anyone, donating or receiving and I know from personal experience that her personal touch is a necessity in this sensitive environment.
