I am very disturbed to hear the negativity towards Egg Donor, Inc. that I have encountered on this site. I am a repeat donor with them, near 30 year old, and decided to donate based on my career/life path and my lack of desire to have my own children. I felt that it is truly a gift to bear a child, and I wanted to share that gift with those who do not have it, or cannot of their own accord.
Truly and sincerely, Egg donation Inc. is the most professional, organized and caring company in this business. They ARE LIKE FAMILY TO ME, and anyone who had a negative word to say about them is just bitter because they were not selected as a donor/recipient, and /or they have serious personal issues that they are projecting onto to ED Inc., who are out to do nothing but good in this world. I imagine its very possible that those who have spit unecessary venom at ED Inc. are persons trying to get into this very life-engaging business for all the wrong reasons (i.e. just the money), not because they want to put any good will out into this world. Or, they may be girls/women who are frankly too young to grasp the profundity of the decision to become a donor, and ED Inc., being as smart as they are, recognized this and denied their requests to be donors.
Also, those who seem upset with ED Inc. may have done things in their past (drugs, un-safe ., etc.) that make them an unacceptable donor, and instead of re-evaluating their own lives and taking responsibility, they are lashing out at ED Inc. for doing nothing more than protecting their loyal clientele by not accepting these individuals into their program. I must say, I feel sorry for these individuals and their pathetic view of what it our short and precious lives.
Regardless of anything you may have heard, ED Inc. is truly superb in its personability, professionalism, and good will. To say or think otherwise is frankly quite absurd.

EDI lurkers, your data base is impressive, however, I will never use EDI because you sued your former clients for breach of contract when it appears that EDI was the party in breach.
I recognize this is a disputed matter, however, I'm inclined to believe the aggrieved couple in this matter. Why?As a person who has been on an IF journey for five years, had five failed IVFs, a miscarriage, I am confident that a party who actually contracts with a donor service doesn't want trouble and just wants a damn baby. More than anything, I'm sure this couple wanted the donor cycle to work and when it didn't they justifiably ended their relationship with you.
You should have had the business sense to let the matter go. To sue under such circumstances in unconscionable and makes me not walk, but run from EDI.

Really, you think this is an appropriate agency review? Accusing all those with negative comments to be crazy, money-hungry, drug addict whores?
You cannot accept that there is not the slightest reason to believe that at least one of these donors had legitimate problems with this agency?
If you truly are a donor with ED, Inc, you should be aware of how poorly your conduct reflects on the agency that is \"LIKE FAMILY\" to you. If, in fact, this is agency staff posting this, you should also be aware that with every libelous \"review\" you and your friends post, your agency just loses more and more clients. In either case, you validate the concerns and criticisms posted here.

Now really! What a low comment! Blaming the victim!
Is it so inconceivable that people have had a bad experience with this agency? Of course not.
Strangely, this post sounds so much like the other very suspicious positive posts lately.
If the people at EDI spent more time improving their business and less scanning the internet for places like this, perhaps there'd be a lot more truly satisfied customers and fewer unsatisfied customers. It seems, though, that there is little in the realm of ethics involved in this agency. No low level to which they will not sink!

Ok, this thread is getting nasty.
To the original poster: it is NOT ok to disparage other donors and make assumptions about their personal lives and ethics simply because they had a bad experience with an agency. Nearly all of the agencies out there deny donors for different reasons. What you say might be true, and it is very possible that a person with a personal problem with an agency, clinic, etc could come on to a site and, anonymously, try to discredit them. That is the reason why ALL posts, both good and bad, must be taken with a grain of salt. However, if this really is a group of rejected donors, wouldn't you think they would be doing this to all the agencies who rejected them?
This entire agency forum is starting to get very distasteful. My suggestion to everyone is this: become registered members. You can still preserve your anonymity by using a username and non-identifiable email address. However, as a member other users can PM you to ask you to clarify and/or verify some of your information.
Let's not forget that this forum is about presenting facts - both negative and positive - about agencies and clinics. All businesses are going to have clientele that dealt with them positively and clientele that did not have a good experience. An ethical business will try to take into consideration clients complaints and remedy the situation. Posters with bad experiences out there also need to be aware that even though they might have been angered or hurt by a business, there very well might be someone who had a wonderful experience - they should be allowed to tell their story, too.
I just think this board is such a WONDERFUL resource, I don't want to see it ruined or closed because of mudslinging. I'm locking this thread because I don't think any more productive discussion will come from it - only name calling.
